2 short courses for anyone interested in creative writing, whether a beginner or looking for new creative pathways for your writing. Learn effective writing techniques and devices designed to inspire new ideas and fresh perspectives and develop an on-going writing practice. Build confidence in your work and gain feedback in a supportive and encouraging environment. All forms of writing welcome – poetry, prose, creative non-fiction or writing for performance.

2 x Women’s Creative Life-Writing Courses
Weds afternoons

2 short courses for women wanting to explore life story, memory or personal experience creatively through writing. All levels of experience welcome, whether a beginner or more experienced or those with a specific project in mind. All writing forms welcome including poetry, story, memoir or family history. Work in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere with experienced life writer, teacher and performer Emma Decent, to find your words and creative voice for self-expression and creative fun.

Courses can stand alone or can follow one from the other, content will vary for each course.

Located in central Todmorden, 10 mins walk from the train station, 2 mins walk from main bus routes.
Pay and display parking directly outside (free after 6pm).
Venue on ground floor, level in, wheelchair accessible & accessible toilet.
