Poetry & Spoken Word, Page 3

Emma speaks from the heart with edgy, witty and inspiring words. Often inspired from a very personal place, her performance poetry and prose has been described as honest, insightful, funny and celebratory. In the last seven years Emma has had guest spots all over the north of England, including her first slam win at the famous Uptown Poetry Slam in Chicago in 2010. She performed a collection of her spoken word in her show My heart is a place where flowers grow at festivals in the North West and Yorkshire in 2011 and 2012. Please see below for examples and links to Emma’s poetry and spoken word work.
